Danish artist Thomas Dambo is working on a large-scale sculpture with recycled materials, having completed 25 woodworks worldwide in just under three years. His final project, The Six Forgotten Giants, is based in his hometown of Copenhagen, a project that builds and hides friendly giants throughout the urban jungle. Using a treasure map, visitors can find great creatures, each equipped with poems depicting their small personalities.
All giants are produced from recycled wood, materials collected by Dambo and his team with 600 pallets, warehouses, old fences, and various other sources. Using local volunteers to build the masterpiece, Dambo later named each statue after one of the builders, as seen by Teddy Friendly below. You can see more beautiful sculptural images on the Dambo site. (Through Panda Bored)
